"Phenomenal location across the street from an entrance to the incredible Pompeii ruins. Charming courtyard, quiet, clean, comfortable rooms. Only challenge was the shower - bathtub, which was very high-sided and slippery. Would definitely stay here again."

"A wonderful property with a classic, and aristocratic feel. After a long journey, we were able to relax and rest on the quiet patio. We read a book and took in the wonderful sunshine. We were able to enjoy the food at the restaurant. They offered a variety of choices for dinner which featuring local cuisine and wines. A good variety was also available for breakfast to start our day. After dinner we were able to take a short stroll around the property and enjoy the gardens, orchards and little pavilions featuring interesting dioramas. The staff was very friendly and very responsive to our request when we had a small issue. The room was always clean , quiet and felt very relaxing,when we returned from a day of touring the local sites surrounding Naples. I would definitely recommend and will definitely return to this villa when in the area. Thank you for helping us make wonderful memories of Napoli. Mille grazie"

"Very clean and quiet property. Beds were incredibly comfortable.The restaurant and bar was expensive, but well worth it because the meal that I had was absolutely delicious. The free breakfast buffet had a large variety of food and was top quality. Also, if you are renting a car in Naples you will very quickly realize that parking spots are at a premium and very difficult to find so underground parking offered by this establishment is convenient. However it does cost 20 euros per day. Overall I enjoyed my 4 night stay here and would highly recommend it."

"Even though it was for 1 night, I had a wonderful time staing at hitel Marad. I had a hard time getting to the hotel by public transportation (not sure if it was due to the sunday schedule but the nearby bus 001 E was hard to find). Once in the property, you have to walk down the path and the reception is on the right. The host apoke englisj. Checkin was quick. Once you get in the room, slide your key on that machine on the wall to activate the light switches; otherwise, the switches wont turn on. The hotel recommended me pizzeria Mennella for dinner (forst meal of the day) and I was very satisfied. The pizza order is a whole pie but it was so light that I wasnt bloated or stuffed at all. I ordered a tiramisu and baba au rum (soaked but not mushy at all) from their bakery next door. I went to bed very happy. The breakfast was continetal style but it was really great with many choices. Hot cocoa available upon request. Again, my stomach was satisfied without the feeling of fullness. For transport convenience, the front desk can call a driver for you. Each ride for me was 30€ which was good pricing overall. Although he didnt apeak English, making the effort to speak italian will motivate him to go above and beyond. He was very flexible with pick up time when i was done early with my activities. He also kept my luggage in his car, picked up my portable baterry from the hotel (I forgot it at checkout), and got me to an early train for Rome. Im very greatful to the staff. "
