"Room itself was really quite nice, bed was very comfortable. The walls were paper-thin, so pray for quiet neighbours! The outside bathrooms (in their little outhouses) were a bit odd, just as well it wasn't too cold this weekend else that would have been unpleasant. The whole place seemed a bit tired and rundown, but it was serviceable enough. Good comms from the hotel pre-arrival which was appreciated. "Room 10 - right by the office. Handy for car park to rear. Quite noisy when the office is busy. When I arrived the guy on the desk said 3 nights for 3 people (I corrected him - 2 nights for 1 person) I was then shown to a single room which I assume he hadn’t planned to give me. He quickly removed what appeared to be used towels from the bathroom and replaced them. "Bed extremely comfortable. Nice touches in room - biscuits, bottled water, sweets. Breakfast very generous & tasty. Lovely evening meal: staff attentive & friendly. Fabulous stay. "

"The staff was very friendly and tended to my needs well, offering exceptional service. The food is also very good. One thing I does bother me a bit is that it would sometimes get kind of noisy outside at night and the window didn't block much of it. But other than that, great service with a dedicated staff."

The beds were very comfortable tea and coffee was supplied and when we needed more milk they bought us more. The room also had doors out to a little patio area overlooking a pool with fish and a lawn beyond."
