I would recommend an SUV, a sedan might bottom out on the road coming in. I gave 4 stars overall because of the latrine.. It is a compost toilet and there is an odor. "The house was immaculate upon arrival. Very surprising as it is nestled right into the woods so you would expect to be some bugs or dust/dirt from in and out of the doors. But, there was none. "We had a wonderful getaway weekend at this beautiful kept from house. It’s an excellent destination for a getaway weekend and also not too far from JMU, Harrisonburg. If you need to disconnect, like hiking and the outdoors, then this is the perfect place to stay It is a trip with all necessary amenities. I recommend bringing some groceries as there are not too many options nearby especially if you want to do extravagant cooking. we love to come back!"
