I booked this hotel through Expedia, but the room description was misleading. There was no mention of the room having no window or being so incredibly tiny. With just two carry-ons, it was almost impossible to move around. In Japan, hotels typically list the square footage, so you know what to expect—unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here.
The bathroom design was shocking. The toilet seat was so close to the glass divider that sitting down was nearly impossible. Whoever designed it must have a sense of humor! To make matters worse, the bath water was not hot, and the overall room temperature was freezing. The control panel didn’t work, and despite calling the front desk multiple times, they barely did anything to resolve the issue.
The bath design also caused water to flow under the sink, creating a huge mess every time we used it.
The customer service was equally disappointing. When I requested a room change—a fair request given the issues—I was met with a dismissive “this is what it is” response, with no apology or effort to address the situation.
This stay was far below expectations. Between the poor design, cold room, unhelpful staff, and misleading listing, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
