The hotel itself is good. Service was average as the room was not that clean when we checked in. I expected more. The gym and pool was not inviting at all. The restaurant/breakfast has poor choices. More better hotels around the area to try.

It was great that they have different pools for diff age group. Service was good also as check in & out were efficient. Conveniently linked to Tanglin mall. Had a lovely stay with my 4years old niece.

We have stayed in quite a few hotels in Singapore (4-5 star) before finding the Hotel Jen Tanglin, but will not go anywhere else now! The hotel is good value for money on Singapore standards and has a nice relaxed vibe, but is very clean (your room is cleaned every day unlike some of the other four and five star hotels) and efficiently run. We upgraded to a club room and therefore benefited from club access (excellent evening drinks and food between 6 and 8 pm) as well as breakfast, which was plentiful, fresh and catered for all tastes. The rooms are not huge (25m2) but perfectly laid out with plenty of storage, great beds and great soundproofing. A nice large swimming pool and what looked like a well equipped gym, although we did not use this. All the members of staff we came across were so hard-working and helpful, from front desk, to the restaurant and the cleaning staff too. The hotel is located right next door to the MRT Orchard Boulevard and very well placed within 10 minutes walk of the botanic Gardens. If and when we return to Singapore, this Hotel will be top of our list! Very highly recommended
