"The property, views, and access to local amenities are fantastic. The house was amazing, well appointed, comfortable, and immaculately clean. The hot tub is brilliant and our kids loved spending the time in it after a full on day walking or at the beach. Johnny as a host is just one of those authentic people you meet in life, warm, friendly and an all round great guy that couldn’t have done anymore to make us feel welcome or share local knowledge. "We had a great weeks stay at the Thistledown lodge. The property was very clean and perfect for our arrival. The instructions/directions were clear and made for easy arrival. The lodge was perfect for us and our dog. The lodge had everything we required for a great stay. The hot tub was perfect as well, while the dog enjoyed her time in the garden (which was fully secure for her to roam about freely) The lodges location was a short walk to two great local pubs, which both served great food....

"The hot tub, the biggest attraction for us, could’ve been a few degrees warmer as it was raining and very cold outside but the place was spacious, pleasant and we had a lovely 2 night stay which was the perfect amount."
