"Centrally located to Bahia Ballena, the Whale’s Tail. We spent 17 days at the cabina in Uvita. It was an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the Whale’s Tail. The communication with the owner was very good. The pool service came twice a week to maintain. This was our first trip to Costa Rica and the Whale Melody Marabi Bahia cabinas was the perfect place to start our journey in the country. "

"L'endroit est parfait pour explorer Baie Drake et en étant un peu retiré pour la tranquillité. Sebastian le proprio offre le service de taxi pour un prix très raisonnable. Le balcon donne sur les arbres et les singes viennent à cet endroit. Sécuritaire pour aller seule à pied au village le soir avec lampe frontale. 1 km de la mer et 2 km du village. Super endroit confortable et chaleureux."

"Beto, the groundskeeper, was wonderful! Full of information and helpful. Loved his sweet little dog, Miraposa (Butterfly), even though I'm usually a cat person. Short walk to beach. Remember, this is glamping. It was easy to adjust to using the solar electricity as we have an RV and it's same idea. Bring a flashlight. It was hard to find property. Need a better sign. Also, the Casitas Mono needs an overhead fan. Need one more solar panel if you put that in."

"Claire and Bud (the owners) couldnt have done more for us. They were staying further up the road and I was able to use their pool which was a treat. The cabin has everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and although it was rainy season it was still wonderful - we could sit on the decking and watch the forest / sea and listen to the rain. The sea view is amazing and we saw some monkeys and other wildlife in the trees around us. Just one thing to consider, if you are coming in rainy...

"The host was very friendly and accommodating and offered many recommendations for the area. The villa was perfect with a huge patio and a full kitchen that let us cook our own breakfast. The best thing that we didn’t know we needed were the two folding chairs that we took all over to be able to relax on the beach. The extra towels provided were very helpful as well. While we didn’t do any laundry, it was nice to have that option just in case."

"It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. "We rented this in June 2023. I don’t think it had been rented much because it had very little wear and tear. I didn’t realize how beautiful the property really would be. The description just does not do it justice. The monkeys came right to the camp several times. The birds were everywhere. Golifito bay is right there. I really loved this place. The fans keep you pretty cool at night and we would all just take a cool outdoor shower before bed and slept well. I would definitely recommend this...
