"We booked this rental as a last minute vacation for our family as it was one of the only places available in the area. There was little to no description about the property on the listing. Initially communication was quick, but then nonexistent over the weekend prior to our arrival. Upon arrival, there was a large amount of paperwork to fill out (that was unexpected). "Beautiful and cozy carriage house overlooking the lake and mountains of the Shuswap. Full kitchen with everything you need, views galore, comfy couches and a big flat screen tv. Everything you could ever want in a vacation rental. We would have preferred a firmer mattress in the master bedroom but that’s our personal choice. Our host was very accommodating and couldn’t be more helpful with questions and requests. Highly recommend!!! "
