"A very enjoyable stay in the pretty and quiet village of Badby. The house was just as described and perfect for our needs. Good little playground and cafe and pub a short walk away. In a perfect world the curtains in the bedrooms would have blackout lining (for the summer sunrises) and the dishwasher would be replaced as the racks are shedding rust, but otherwise a fantastic stay."

"Booked a long weekend for myself and my grown up son to catch up with friends and family who still live in the area We moved North when he was 2 years old and is now in his early 20's so spent the time going to places he went as a baby. The lodge position was perfect as it was quiet but only about 20 minutes from everything. It was cosy and comfortable with everything we needed. My son made good use of the hot tub. are definitely considering booking to do the same next year."

"No welcome ' pack ' not even a bottle of milk. Light fittings missing. Main bed the worst ever experienced. The central heating did not work, we sat in overcoats and blankets. Heating set at 16deg. in the middle of winter !Hostess indifferent , realised her responsibility, refused to speak to us and told the agency to ask us to leave due to heating problems and her concern with her insurance Gave full refund but our stay to be near our family was ruined due to lack of maintenance. "We stayed for a week in December during a hard time for our family, and the property was just what we were after; rural, quiet and calm, with a lovely pub just yards away. The only issue we ran into was that the dishwasher was too small to clean the plates provided. But the owner was pleasant, the wood burner made things cost, and the bathroom was clean.
