"We enjoyed the hot springs and great breakfast buffet that we can taste local signature food! It’s nice they give complimentary Yakut and tiny ice cream bar after the hot springs. "

"The host (Hiro) was super helpful and very kind. Before our stay, he reached out to us to ask if we wanted to be picked up at the train station. We took him up on his offer and our ride was there on time waiting for us when we arrived. He then drove us to a local supermarket so we could get groceries, and he waited for us there patiently. At our villa, the host walked us through the place and showed us how to operate everything. He then provided us with bus maps, suggestions to eat and shop, told us about the fall/autumn "festival" that was taking place during our stay, and gave us general local guidance. Super helpful! The Villa was a great space that suited our needs (family of four), and was nothing fancy. But while in Kawaguchiko we were out and about, so didn't need luxury. My only disappointment, albeit a small one, was that I was expecting an outside multi person hot tub, but it was a large in-bathroom Jacuzzi. This was still great in the end. To wrap up or stay, the host also drove us back to the train station with all our luggage. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Great value."

"The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. My first experience at a traditional Japanese hotel and I was floored with how warm, friendly and helpful the staff were. You can tell they are trying to renovate as much as they can with what they have, and the common areas look lovely. The open air onsen was incredible as well. It was overall such a nice experience.
