It was our first time in Kyoto and we stumbled upon this place and booked because we wanted the convenience of a washer/dryer after 5 days of travel in Tokyo, and it was a plus that it was cutely decorated. We were so surprised upon arrival to find the place was basically like a one bedroom apartment (so much room!) equipped with everything you’d possibly need to make yourself comfortable. "This hotel was best hotel we stayed in during our Japan trip. The room was huge which so good when travelling with 3 teenagers, clothes washing and drying facilities, staff went above and beyond with helping us with any questions. Close to transport, markets, shopping, all key Kyoto sites. I cannot recommend it enough! "

"The property is in great location in Gion which is walkable to a lot of tourist attractions. It’s not too far (15-20 min walk) from the Nishiki market. There is a bus stop around the corner from the hotel and the closest train station is about a 12 minute walk. The hotel itself was clean and having a sauna in the room was very nice. There is free laundry machines by the lobby, however plan accordingly because the dryer takes 3-4 hours to dry a load. Overall, we had a great stay and I would stay...

"I had never seen a hotel with all 10/10 reviews before, so we stayed there to see for ourselves. It's no lie, the place was wonderful. The staff really make it special - they are lovely, friendly, helpful, engaging. We stayed there for a long stretch, and it was our favorite hotel in Japan by far. We were a family of four and opted to book two rooms. We were very comfortable, enjoyed the breakfasts and free drinks in the afternoon. We were able to do laundry in our rooms, too. "The property itself is excellent. Clean, you have a kitchen and laundry right in your room and the cost was very attractive. The main gripe is that we had forwarded our luggage from Hakuba and I was first informed that reception was not attended to for 2 hours, then I was informed it was 3 and when we got there, it was 4. I was worried that nobody would be there to receive our luggage. Our luggage did arrive and was locked in the reception are but we were not informed, hence we went 3 days...
