"Nice hotel. Great place if you are looking for a self-contained resort. Four pools, multiple restaurants, private beach, bars, spa and more. Definitely a great place to unwind, relax and enjoy beautiful surroundings. Hotel is a bit remote; you’ll need to hire transportation to visit places. "

"the property and service is great. the only draw back is the terrible traffic due to the road construction. If you are coming from the airport Nyali is not a nice drive due to the construction that just doesn't seem to improve."

"First visited nearly 30 years ago and have stayed several times since. It's a lovely hotel for a short stay and it has an amazing staff. The facilities are excellent, great for young families and can be lively in the evenings (ask for a room away from the music in need). The restaurants are all open attracting monkies, crows and sparrows so some surfaces are likely not very clean but generally not a nuisance. The hotel's reputation is well-deserved."

"We had a good stay at Lion in the sun. People there are super friendly and really doing their best for you to have a good stay. The rooms are nice, beds are comfortable and so are the chairs. The resort is beautiful with flowers, trees and well maintained swimming pools. "I got a very good offer to stay at the Royal Shaza suites and I am very happy to have chosen to stay here. The reception staff especially Emmanuel were very welcoming and helpful. I requested an early check in and early check out which were all accommodated for. The room was clean, spacious & quiet. I felt very safe at the property. The staff are very helpful and polite. I requested a very early breakfast for a few days which was accommodated for with no problem by the restaurant. Thanks to the chef and Charles, who served me almost every day of my stay. The laundry service are quick snd reasonably priced. There is a well equipped gym, several swimming pools, well maintained gardens and beach access to the ocean. "
