"Just next to JR station, few minutes walk to morning market. Location is perfect. Some of the rooms face the train station, very good view especially in snow. Public bath is good for relaxing. Room is in decent size."

"We were a bit worried about the size of the room at first. It was mostly a bed and a bathroom. We could barely fit our suitcases. We became accustomed to the room which we used primarily to sleep and dress.We spent most of our time exploring the town outside. We enjoyed walking through the morning market nearby and choosing the different places to eat at. Everything tasted wonderful. We took advantage of the hotel’s onsen, lounge and coffee dispenser machine. We enjoyed our stay at the Tokyo Stay Hakodate! "

"Very nice hotel with excellent amenities. The room was very large and super clean. I was very impressed with this hotel and the on site Onsen was the best one I have been to so far with indoor and outdoor onsen and sauna. I highly recommend this hotel. I also walked from the train station which was not far from the hotel (about 10 minutes walk)."

"Hotel has nice onsen, very popular even close to midnight. There are free soup and drinks in lobby . There are free pillow to choose from pillow counter and free scent to choose daily. The breakfast is a must go, really fabulous spread and delicious. "

"This us my 2nd time staying at this great boutique hotel. Everything is immaculately clean, up to date, comfortable and totally impressive in every way. There is an unspoken welcoming vibe upon reaching the hotel. I will most certainly stay there if i were to visit Hakodate for the 3rd time :)"

"We stayed her after we left the Kokusai. La Vista was a far superior hotel. The location was very convenient to the train station and the staff was very helpful. They offered tea and coffee in the lobby and tea and coffee in the room. Unique to be able to freshly grind your coffee beans and drip pour in your room! The onsen was really beautiful and relaxing. They were open all night long! It was a fun experience to see all the guests in their pajamas walking around the hallways in the middle of the night. They had an outside onsen for both women and men (Kokusai down the street only had an outdoor onsen for the men!). I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hakodate for a memorable stay. The one thing to mention was that the breakfast did not open early enough for us to eat before we left for our train at 6:30am, so we missed that. We were glad they had a special coffee and tea in the rooms so we could enjoy that instead. Definitely recommend you waking up early to watch the sunrise as you sit outside in their onsen on the roof. "
