"The host was awesome and extremely responsive. They have a gift shop right beside the motel / log cabin. This was convenient as there was times I was not able to make food on the grill and I was able to pick up a pizza or hot dog. I was also able to get ice cream when I was craving some which was awesome. I highly recommend Big timbers as it is a repeat spot that my family will go to each summer!"

"My husband and I really liked the property and location, especially for the easy access to Itasca State Park. The property owners are nearby and helpful with prompt communication and information about the area. The stairs to the bed loft are a little tricky in the dark and you have to remember to duck your head in the bed loft. We left the bathroom light on at night for visiblity."

"My partner and I came for a weekend away from our devices to relax and recharge, and this definitely delivered. The cabin was clean and cozy, the wrap-around porch made for a really nice spot to enjoy meals and the outdoors, and all the necessities were adequately stocked (toiletries, firewood, towels, etc.). "The cabin is super cute. It has everything that you need. I would definitely recommend and stay here again. Simple, quaint place to unplug. Location was great, 25 minutes to Bemidji and only 20 minutes the Lake Itasca State Park. We would highly recommend."
