"We had a nice stay at Balgownie. We were treated to a complementary wine tasting, the grounds were very nice, the breakfast was excellent and the room (admittedly, we chose the “standard” room) was adequate. The gym was untidy, the AC didn’t work in the gym (nor did the Wi-Fi) and it’s a small gym/pool area. It’s a nice location for exploring the area."

We also appreciate staff patience in the face of inadequate information from Wotif. We hope that time and finances will allow the once magnifent gardens to shine again. We will definitely be back. "

"Check in was a breeze with friendly and helpful staff at the desk. We had an issue with the toilet continuously running so we were swapped into another room immediately without fuss. Room was spotlessly clean, generous in size and the bed, I just knew would give us an excellent nights sleep..and it did! Great shower too! All in all a great stay for a reasonable tariff. Would definitely stay here again. "
