Because of its location car parking is not easy residents get very protective of their perceived space and put cones and no parking signs outside; in the summer months parking must be even worse. "Great place to stay. Me and the dog loved it. Very quiet (except being on the flight path of RAF Brize Norton). Loved the planes, so it didn't bother me, after the shock of the first one! Beautifully furnished, with an amazing garden and field beyond for the dog. Located close to visit the Cotswold Wildlife Park. Would highly recommend."

"We had a ladies friends weekend away in early Nov. Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Log burner was fab and ability to have extra check out time for a small fee was worth it. Having the added bonus of the spa pass made the weekend extra special. The owners are particularly excellent and quick to respond with any of our questions. All good - highly recommended. We intend to return."

"I was disappointed at the cleanliness. It seemed as just the bare minimum was cleaned. There is quite a bit of mold in every window and in the bathroom. The bathroom had cobwebs and multiple spiders. the shower and sink had pink mold as if it hasn't been cleaned in awhile. The baseboards and around furniture had thick dust built up. "Cute little cottage. Not too fancy, but definitely does the trick. Make sure to make note of your check-in instructions (code to the lock box for the key) before you arrive as cell service is very spotty and no access to wifi until you enter the unit. Nice neighbourhood. 45 minute walk to bourton on the water. "

"Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, spacious, rustic yet modern, warm and cosy. Well equipped. Quiet location next to a farm. We loved staying here and will definitely stay again. Rural, but close to Swindon, Royal Wootton Bassett and M4. Owners helpful and on-hand for any queries. We were left some milk and eggs which was nice. "

"Stunning lodge in the most beautiful setting. This was our third visit to Lower Mill Estate. Coot Lodge is a very spacious 3 bedroom lodge - with double height living accommodation, huge decked area, with bbq. It’s close proximity to the spa and pool made it super easy to walk to. Lots of towels and clean bedding. We were spoilt for board Games. The property is so lovely that we didn’t really want to leave to go anywhere! We would highly recommend and would book to visit again."
