"I can’t say enough about our host, Bob, and this property. If you’re looking for a peaceful slice of heaven, this immaculate log cabin is the place. "Our two weeks on the lake were filled with swimming, kayaking, hammock napping and eating. My daughter and I hosted guests and day trippers, almost filling the bunkhouse! The house itself is pristine, tastefully appointed and well stocked, from towels to firewood. A welcome basket from a local bakery awaited us. Our dogs were happy, too! "We had a great time golfing, hiking and exploring the Wilmington shops and restaurants. The house has lots of charm but is on the older side. Some cosmetic updates have been made such as new beds(very comfortable), great heating and A/C, new deck to enjoy the outside and fresh paint and modern decor inside. The bathrooms could use update and repair. Large groups should confirm that all bathrooms are functional before booking. Overall a nice place to stay."

Great hot tub to enjoy on cool nights. Plenty of space to relax alone or as a group. The owner was super responsive with our questions and provided suggestions to make our stay more pleasant. "The home is beautiful as pictured surrounded by lush greenery and trees. It was very peaceful. The property manager Evolve took at least 2 weeks to answer questions. We enjoyed Hogback Mtn in Wilmington. EAT at the Blue Benn dinner in Bennington. We had so much fun riding the Alpine slide at Bromley Mtn. So many beautiful state parks all around."

Enjoyed a nice dinner nearby at Blue Rock Shelburne Falls, a little shopping and coffee at Mocha mayas and Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters. Although it isn't a full service venue, the owner Chris was sooooo helpful in getting everything we needed for our wedding.
