"On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. Wish we knew that. On the up side:...

"This was our fourth time staying at Tom’s house for a winter weekend with a large group of friends (which now includes young kids). We love the location, close to Craftsbury Outdoor Center and Hill Fsrmstead, and that you can have dogs. Kitchen is stocked to cook for a group. And plenty of room for a large group! "Comfortable and clean away from the hustle and bustle of touristy areas. Beautiful view. Washer and dryer were a great amenity to catch up from a weeks worth of travel. Farm fresh eggs, and tasty pumpkin bread for breakfast. "
