Great Home Great Stay
Rented this beautiful home for three days to celebrate a 50th birthday for my husband! The space was awesome, we loved the open concept upstairs and the hot tub! The owners were so amazing to deal with and the location is beautiful. It was a perfect home to bring friends and family together and we are so grateful to have found it!

The pictures of the house do not do it justice. Perfect weekend getaway for a Murder Mystery with our grown kids. Tons of space to be together or in your room for rest! Would love to go during warm weather! All round great stay!!!

Great stay!
We loved the location of Sandra's property and being able to access the dock. We enjoyed going for little walks with our toddlers, and accessing a local playground. The property has a large deck, hot tub, and multiple propane fire pits which were all thoroughly enjoyed. The kitchen was lovely and the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect! I would love to stay here again.

Sr Girls Sports Team Stay
Our team loved the ability to hang out, get homework done, relax and bond as a team while we prepared and ate meals together in the beautiful large kitchen, used the hot tub and took in the surrounding nature trails. It was a wonderful stay!

Shawnigan Lake House
Our family gathered together and enjoyed our time at the house. The great room is a perfect place for hanging together and there are spaces for the teenagers to get away. We enjoyed the lake - and even swam on September 30th. It was a beautiful weekend.

Wonderful House for a Multi-Family Vacation
What a wonderful space! As other reviews mentioned, the pictures don’t even do it justice. So spacious and pretty, and fun for the kids! House is well-equipped with needs, beds are comfy, and everything was so clean and pleasant. The owner is also super responsive and kind. We are very much hoping to come back some day.

Lake Vacation
Staying in Sandra’s home in Shawnigan Lake was so awesome! It was gorgeous, private, quaint little town. Kids loved the paddle boards and kayaks and the view was spectacular. Sandra was so responsive and available to answer our questions. The only complaint was that it was too short. Next time, we must stay longer. Thanks for making this a great experience.

We had a family reunion/vacation. The house provided lots of space and was quite comfortable. We enjoyed being close to the lake for swimming and having access to the kayaks and paddle boards. It would have been nice to ha e a ladder off the dock especially for the kids to get out of the water.

Four family getaway
This property was perfect for our get-away with four siblings, spouses and adult children. There was lots of space for everyone to either hang together for meals and games or spend some quiet time alone. We made use of the dock with our speed boat and stand up paddle boards and the "kids" loved the hot tub and foosball table. We had an amazing dinner at the Lakehouse and then spent lots of time in the large kitchen preparing the remaining meals. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing!
It’s pretty rare that a place looks BETTER than the pictures. But this place does. The beds were so comfortable and there were plenty of bathrooms and places to relax. The scenery around the property was breath taking. Any communication with Sandra was lovely. We came all the way from the mid west in the states and we would definitely come again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Weekend wedding stay with great lake view.
The property was just what we needed, in fact it was more than we needed :-). Spacious, clean, new and in a great location, just steps from the lake. The owner's have taken time and care in ensuring their guests have a terrific stay, plus communication was prompt and effective. The "Luxury" in the description has been used correctly. We had four generations in the home with plenty of room to be together, and to be apart. We would absolutely stay there again and would happily recommend to family, friends, acquaintances and even those we have not met.

This gorgeous waterfront, fully equipped, and spacious house in Shawnigan Lake was perfect for my family of 12 as we came together for my brother's wedding. The balcony and outdoor seating areas were spectacular. We walked on nearby trails and woke up to birds and deer about the property. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was an outdoor grill too that we put to good use. The communication with the hosts was easy and prompt. Centrally located between Victoria and Duncan, this house allows you to explore Vancouver Island from a strategic location. We highly recommend this lakefront beauty!

Perfect Weekend Getaway!
Exactly what we needed. House is exactly as described. Big, beautiful, clean and just minutes away from the private dock. Friends and family definitely had a relaxing trip. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was large enough to comfortably fit our entire group. The host and property manager were very responsive if there were any issues. I would say they exceeded all my expectations with the service making sure we were ok and stocked with supplies. Definitely will stay again in the future. Thanks!

Great location for a Shawnigan Lake Cycling getaway
Very well appointed house with all the toys. There are 7 distinct bedrooms but realistically 5 bedroom for an an adult group. owners very responsive to questions and concerns. Used the house as home base for daily cycling expeditions in the area. Ate in house 2 nights and out 2 nights at Lakehouse at Shawnigan and Unsworth Winery. Both very enjoyable. At home, BBQ and kitchen had all the conveniences.

Volleyball Team Stay
Great quiet location, beds were comfortable and house accommodated our large group of 12 nicely. A couple of the beds were a pull out couch in a kitchen/living area and a futon in a rumpus room so we weren't sure if those were supposed to be included in the 7 bedrooms but we made it work and everyone had a bed to sleep in. Hot Tub was a treat and we enjoyed playing the boardgames available in the home.

Shawnigan getaway
We have a group of ten of us stay and friends come visit throughout the weekend. House was very clean, big and beds were comfy. Would stay again for sure.
