"The nearly 200-year old Carley Farmhouse nestled amidst the Vermont hills is a real keeper! The natural beauty of the area is stunning, and nature lovers will appreciate the bird chatter, occasional monarch butterfly, starry skies, complete with fireflies in the yard! "Great price and value relative to hotel down in greenfield. The home was clean and beds were comfy. Loved we could bring our dogs to romp and hike with us on the expansive grounds. Hot tub was a plus as was ping pong table and tether ball. We couldn’t access the fire pit the first night as we planned because it was fenced in goat herd - Which was cool but a bit smelly in the night breeze with guard dog barking so had to shut the Windows."

"Great property with great view, cute suite with everything we needed for a short stay while getting our daughter settled back in at Amherst College. Enjoyed a nice dinner nearby at Blue Rock Shelburne Falls, a little shopping and coffee at Mocha mayas and Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters. My husband did a little fly fishing just off the property in the Deerfield River. Thank you!"

"We stayed at Chris' mansion for my wedding this past weekend and it was everything I expected and more. Although it isn't a full service venue, the owner Chris was sooooo helpful in getting everything we needed for our wedding. He owns a restaurant as well and was able to provide all of our appetizers, servers and bartenders! We even had our rehearsal dinner at his bar down the street called Jax on Tap.
