"The property was perfect for a couple breakaway. Village was extremely pretty with a fantastic pub two minutes walk away. The food was home cooked and plentiful (real ales and great wine list) ate there most nights. The cottage had everything you needed and the owner couldnt have been any nicer or more accommomodating. Little village shop which had most things and the villagers were lovely. Would definitely stay again."

"The cute, cosy cottage was warm, welcoming, immaculately clean and very well-equipped - a real home-from-home! Shaldon is a picturesque seaside village with a smattering of fab eateries and cute, independent shops. Also well-situated with good transport links to Teignmouth, Totnes, Exeter and Dartmoor. Carol was a lovely host who sent clear check-in instructions. We really enjoyed our stay! "

"We booked the property to celebrate a family birthday. The house has everything you would need. It is tastefully furnished but at the same time very practical. Very cozy, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of space for everyone. We had a great time exploring the local area, although we know Devon quite well anyway, its always nice to experience different areas. "

"This is a perfect little place to spend some time with what can only be described as one of the best views in the country. "I’ve been going to the south hams for decades and we were visiting family for a long weekend. We decided to stay at stancombe farm as we wanted the flexibility of eating in and out. Our accomodation was really well equipped and we cooked a few times and had everything we needed. Microwave, Nespresso, dishwasher. The cupboards had all the little items you often need salt, pepper, vinegar. Location wise just above Chillington. A real credit to the owner. We will be back."

"I made the booking via Hotel.com and 5 hours after I paid I had an email that I had to pay a £50 mandatory fee for facilities passes at the park. I questioned this as nothing was stated via booking and the price stated was the final price I paid. I had emails from a 3rd party called travelnest and also getting emails from someone asking for £50. The whole booking was a mess. Eventually I spoke to the host and he kept saying its written in the description of this extra charge when I never saw it,...

"A lovely cosy property in a great location. A nice walk along the river Sid brings you out on the coast in Sidmouth. 2 minutes walk to a great chip shop and five mins walk to to two great pubs. Really enjoyed the stay and our hosts were lovely and helpful."
