"one of two shepherds hut situated at the top of field/garden with a two person hot tub which was lovely in the evening watching the stars above on the clear night, the hut itself is lovely and cosy with a small woodburner (lighter, kindle and logs supplied) and everything you needed was supplied. There are sheep fenced off in the middle of the field with surrounding apple trees and a stream at the bottom and chickens to the side. Had a great stay with our two small dogs -thank you "

"It was a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing place to celebrate turning 60 with husband, two adult children and the dog! Booked only a week before so only had two nights... we should have booked longer. Planning to return very soon. The lodge is very comfortable with high end finish pretty much throughout. It is very spacious and yet cosy... we loved the covered decking outside. "We stayed at Saltwater over the Christmas period and was able to enjoy all that Shaldon has to offer at this time of year.Saltwater was a great property for the two of us. It is in an ideal position with its own parking (which is a must in the village), close to the centre and all the activity. It was an ideal size for us, spotlessly clean and decorated for Christmas for our arrival- which was a very nice touch.Thank you!"

"The cute, cosy cottage was warm, welcoming, immaculately clean and very well-equipped - a real home-from-home! Shaldon is a picturesque seaside village with a smattering of fab eateries and cute, independent shops. Also well-situated with good transport links to Teignmouth, Totnes, Exeter and Dartmoor. Carol was a lovely host who sent clear check-in instructions. We really enjoyed our stay! "
