"We were disappointed in the beach and surrounding facilities. It is an extremely large area so other parts of the beach may be different. There was only one beach bar at night that only served frozen pizza, so unless you did a big drive it was very limited. We didn’t want to drive up the steep roads again. The hotel is very clean but basic. It’s lovely to hear the sea at night with the doors open! "

"It's a stylish apartment with excellent service, daily cleaning and good vibes. It included everything we needed, and it is all brand new. Better than any "typical" hotel we've been in in a long while. Beautifull location up in the village 2 min walk from the center with plenty of figs trees, vines and flowers. We fell in love and will surely come back to Kissamos and only to Kallimento. "

"Lina & Dimitri were wonderful hosts and always made sure we had a comfortable stay. They offered us cold drinks like ice coffe, when we relaxed at the pool area. The apartment itself was cosy and we had our own balcony. The air condition also worked perfectly during the hot days. There was a bus station just outside Iliaktida apartments, so it was easy to take the bus to Chania and other places in Crete. The location is nice, meters from the sea and a lot of restaurants on the promenade, the beach however is about 10 minute walk away.
