"The rooms were odd, felt like staying in a concrete tomb. The pool was yellow-ish green, it was not swimmable. The hotel is very remote, no food, taverns, groceries within walking distance. beds were old and very uncomfortable, and overall we felt very unsafe in this location and left after one miserable night. The location is nice, meters from the sea and a lot of restaurants on the promenade, the beach however is about 10 minute walk away. If you're just looking for a relaxing place to stay, then the drive there may not be worth the effort. The drive there involves some pretty twisty roads with the last 5 km or so on a dirt/gravel road. "We were disappointed in the beach and surrounding facilities. It is an extremely large area so other parts of the beach may be different. There was only one beach bar at night that only served frozen pizza, so unless you did a big drive it was very limited. We didn’t want to drive up the steep roads again. The hotel is very clean but basic. It’s lovely to hear the sea at night with the doors open! "
