"The home is a decent distance off the highway but the scenery you'll see while driving to it are gorgeous. On the first day, we saw 3 deer and 2 rabbits! The driveway is very steep and made of gravel, so keep that in mind when choosing what vehicle to bring. If it has been raining, your tires may slip a bit going up. "We came during a very raining weekend, but it was still a beautiful location. The morning we checked out, the sun came out, and so did the sheep. We had a very nice time, and would stay here again. "

"We went to that area to ride the Virginia creeper Trail bike trail. The location was perfect. The house was spotless and provided an excellent lodging option for four adults. We would definitely rent this place again."

"Michael and Tatiana made my daughter and I feel so welcome! Plus we brought my three pups and my daughter’s pup no problem!! Their place has an amazing view of the mountains! They have sheep, pigs, bunnies, ducks made it fun to look out the window and see sheep grazing. Fresh duck eggs available the whole time. Place was very clean and had all we needed. Very homey!! I will rent again when I come back to see my brother and family. "

"The home was beautiful, a nice little retreat. An adventure to get back to and definitely somewhere we will be back. Communication was great, definitely take food in. About 15-20 minutes to the closest store. But we all can’t wait to be back. Perfect for visiting the family over the weekend."
