"The location is perfect between Boone and Blowing Rock about 15 min from each. It was a nice super clean studio loft perfect for a couple. Tv, coffee/tea, fire pit outside on the deck couldn’t get any better. Communication from the owners was great and welcoming. The property is like a mother in-law suite to their house. They are not intrusive at all but if you need them they are close. "

"This is the perfect place to disconnect and escape the hustle of daily life. Just remote enough to feel like you are all alone but not too far out for a day trip to Blowing Rock or Boone. The tiny house is cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Evenings in the hot tub were amazing, and so were the starry skies. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, leaving us feeling reconnected and recharged. We can’t wait to come back!"

"The ONLY complaint I would have and was a surprise to us was that you unload your car and then park your vehicle back down the hill and then have to take a shuttle back to your car. You can’t just walk out and get in your car. The shuttle was quick don’t get me wrong but it was a little bit of a hassle. The place is clean, the view is awesome, it’s quiet and your literally on top of a mountain, felt safe and guarded, pool and hot tub was amazing. We had a handicap sticker for one of our vehicle...

"This a return visit to the Downtown Duck. We stayed here last fall to visit our son at Boone and came back with him this year so he could visit some friends still in Boone. the location is great, can walk to food, drink and shopping. you can also catch the applecart and travel around town. will definitely return"

"This lodging was perfect for our weekend trip to Boone for the High Country Beer Fest! The only downside was how the water supply seemed to be shared across all 3 units in Chestnut cabin 37, so there was sometimes low water pressure or no water at all, flowing to the sinks and shower at times when water might've been in higher demand. But overall, it was a very peaceful stay!"
