"Loved our time at Borghetto Calcinaia. We enjoyed the pool, views of the lake, the gardens, the nearby towns. Ben was very helpful and we were delighted to have food at the house when we arrived. The property had everything we needed and it's very comfortable. Can't wait to return!"

"We loved the farmhouse. It was immaculately clean, with a well-equiped kitchen. You could easily use it with two families since there are two kitchens, multiple bathrooms. It is located next to a working agricultural company so there is some tractor and car traffic right in front of the terrace. It did not bother us but it may be dangerous with small children. That was the only negative I could think of. Super accommodation!"

The house sits on a ridge with far reaching views across the surrounding valleys, particularly stunning from the swimming pool. "A very peaceful place in green area surrounded by threes of fruit we could eat. We were met by Marc who made us feel home. Beautiful new renovated room with nice decor. Breakfast was good with selection of eggs, ham and type of bread. We had the best pizza ever down in the city nearby. "

"The villa was an incredible location for our group to enjoy a quiet and relaxing weekend away. Francesco our host was very helpful and accommodating during our stay as well as before during our planning the trip. I would highly recommend the villa in Sansepulcro for any type of group outings!"

"We were 8 adults and loved our stay here. Pool is large and warm. Great accommodation. Good sized table outside for eating at. Very good communication before we went and property manager on hand if we needed anything during the stay. There are some lovely hilltop towns within 30 mins of the property, Arezzo is an hour away and there are restaurants and a supermarket 10 mins away. Can thoroughly recommend!!"

"We rented for the month of October, 2024. We broke the month into 3 section of 10 days each. The first section we invited friends, 6 couples, all retried adults. The next group were nieces and nephews all adults 30 to 40 years old. The last group was brothers and sisters. Needless to say I was worried that the Property would not live up to the pictures, no worries! The property is everything we wanted and more. Perfect! We had such a good time, plenty of areas to congregate, swimming...

"I couldn’t recommend this villa highly enough. We had a fantastic holiday. Niccolo our host was brilliant, he was there to meet and greet us and responded to any questions we had very quickly. All in all this was the best holiday let we have ever stayed in. A big thank you to Niccolo and his family"

"We had a really great stay at Agriturismo Il Capannino. Such a peaceful and beautiful location. We had a warm welcome from Giuseppe the proprietor who was such good fun and a very interesting person. The rooms were very comfortable and well furnished and we really felt at home. The food was WONDERFUL and we really can't wait to go back again!"

"Sehr ruhig, abgeschieden und bestens geeignet sich zu erholen. Der Pool hat ein Gefühl von Luxus vermittelt. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Mehrere Möglichkeiten, um das Haus herum zu sitzen, liegen, essen, sich aufzuhalten. WLAN funktioniert gut. Und die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und vertrauensvoll. "The property was exactly as listed - beautiful scenery and far away from neighbours so that you feel comfortable in your own bubble. Due to heavy storms we had a couple of issues with cloudy water and power going out, but the only thing outside of the hosts abilities was changing the weather! Whenever the power went Chiara and Davide came to our aid instantly and were nothing short of understanding and amazing every time. Cannot recommend this villa and host enough. 15/10."

"Chiara hosted our wedding weekend. I can not stress enough that pictures on here don't do the property justice. It is one of the most spectacular villas we have ever seen. Chiara (the host) is so lovely and very attentive. The place it swlf has got so much space, so much offer and is so wonderful, we're hoping to go back for our 10 year anniversary."

Recommend for Sure

"Trying to figure out how to unload luggage gave us a bit of stress, but the local people were amazing to help us. The area is amazing, wished we would have had more time to tour. The room is comfortable, but it was a bit warm. We opened up the windows but with the celebration of Halloween was a tad too noisy. Loved hearing the children. The breakfast is very good. "

"My wife and I didn't make it to the hotel until after midnight. I felt bad that the hotel tried to reach out to me beforehand, to know what time I may arrive, but I was in the mountains and didn't see the message until we arrived at the hotel. The man was waiting for us...asleep on the couch behind his desk. He woke up and greeted us with a smile and was very friendly; he was clearly exhausted but showed no sign of annoyance or frustration with us. This is clearly a family-run business, and they do a fabulous job with it. It was almost as if he was just glad we made it there safely. After we checked in, he told us to have a good night and laid back down on the couch behind the lobby desk. The next morning, we checked out with ease and we're treated greatly by the woman at the desk. This was a great hotel experience."
