The house sits on a ridge with far reaching views across the surrounding valleys, particularly stunning from the swimming pool. The owners were kind and thoughtful and there to offer assistance whenever needed. Their recommendations were spot on, especially the gelateria at the end of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence!!! "Loved our time at Borghetto Calcinaia. We enjoyed the pool, views of the lake, the gardens, the nearby towns. Ben was very helpful and we were delighted to have food at the house when we arrived. The property had everything we needed and it's very comfortable. Can't wait to return!"

"We loved the farmhouse. It was immaculately clean, with a well-equiped kitchen. You could easily use it with two families since there are two kitchens, multiple bathrooms. It is located next to a working agricultural company so there is some tractor and car traffic right in front of the terrace. It did not bother us but it may be dangerous with small children. That was the only negative I could think of. Super accommodation!"

"Everything was perfect! The accommodation and the location of the house were just great. Our landlord was always helpful and accommodating. He responded immediately to any questions we had and dealt with them promptly. The pool was always well maintained and a real treat. The view and the landscape are outstanding. We really enjoyed the peace and seclusion. We also used our accommodation as a base for many excursions to Florence, Siena, Anghiari, Pienza and Perugia. We would love to come back!"
