"Of the 4 rentals during our Italian adventure - this property had too many requirements, for example, even though paying a cleaning fee - we had to clean the apartment, take out trash daily and had trouble with the showers not working. Was a very nice and spacious apartment conveniently located to train station, restaurants and night life. "

"This is a beautiful property, but you do need to be able to walk up steep roads. It was so clean and it had everything you would need. The bathroom was really nicely done with lovely tile. The best part was the deck out front overlooking the water. An interesting old building."

"For the most part the apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. The apartment has plenty of storage. The entire building is under construction and lots of dirt from the outside gets inside. The noise from the construction starting at 7-8 am on most days was very disturbing. There were days that jack hammers were used right outside the door. In addition, the traffic and people talking outside the window sometimes until 1am, made it difficult to sleep. I had to wear ear plugs to fall...

"If you want an Italian experience then this is the place. The beautiful period property was perfect for us, comfortable, well air conditioned, extremely spacious and very clean. The lovely family who own the property made us feel most welcome and helped us with information about the area and facilities. Especially listen out for the very talented piano playing.  We spent many relaxing hours around the pool and in the large garden, which was the best part of our week stay. We never got to visit...

"We quite enjoyed our stay at Donato's flat in Salerno. It's located right on the edge of the historic district, an easy walk to everything. The sea walk is close by, as are the cathedral and Minerva's Garden. There are many many restaurants nearby. Communication with Donato and his son, Roberto, was excellent. Roberto met us at the train station and took us directly to the flat. Now, there are some 76 stairs--we counted--to get to the fourth floor, and no elevator. It was no issue for us--part...
