"It was an amazing find! It felt so peaceful and relaxing! They have a beautiful orchard with goats! The property was pristine and had beautiful antiques throughout! They are a 5 th generation family business! Upon arrival we received a very warm welcome! As a bonus they have espresso, tea, fruit, and cookies out all the time. You feel like you are home!!! Guests are welcome to bring food in and eat in the common dining area. This place was a treasure! We will definitely be back!"

"We really enjoyed our week at Vale Pisco. The property and its surrounding area are beautiful. The kids enjoyed the play area and the pool. We also really enjoyed our walks into the village and exploring the nearby trail. "

Then the son running the business remotely called and threatened me with fraud if I didn't go back. Terrible experience. "

"Pros: GREAT location with beautiful views right across the street from the ocean. Staff is very friendly. Loads of amenities (though you have to pay extra). Cons: Bungalows have ZERO light in the kitchen and minimal lighting in the room. We had to use our headlamp to cook. There is no way to have air circulation in the room if you don’t have the main sliding doors open while you sleep. Only one small bathroom window that cracks a few inches. "Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"Accommodation was very tired, cracked bathroom surfaces, rusty radiators, broken kitchen cupboard and bin, lack of glasses and cutlery. Staff at the clubhouse restaurant were unfriendly and we felt like we were too much trouble for them. "
