"We have a fantastic time at Casa EmCanto we were a family group with children aged 6 months to 10years. The facilities were amazing and enabled a really relaxing hoilday for us all. "Situated on an isolated raised area just on the edge of the town this is a spacious property with comfortable beds. It is however rather bland inside with sparce furniture. It needs a table and chairs for eating together with a coffee table to help fill the space. The main lights in the bedrooms have no shades or ceiling rose, just the bulb hanging on the cable. We enjoyed our stay and made use of the pool and outdoor loungers. Overall we would recommend this property but it needs the addition...

"This was the most relaxing stay! We were deep in the countryside in our own stone village with great amenities and fresh bread, fruit, cheese, jam and honey for our kitchen every day. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but it was fun and challenging diving around exploring the region on back roads to get to the each town with its castle and church. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home of Jos! The house was located close to cafe's and attractions in Penela. The house is very well stocked with utensils, small appliances and anything you could need to feel at home. The house was clean and the back yard area was pleasant to sit out and view the mountain. The house was more than affordable! Jos even checked on us twice to make sure everything was ok. Thank you for letting us stay."

"Excellent information regarding access to the villa and it’s resources. Very impressed with how well equipped the villa is with regards to everyday amenities. Really spacious with lots of different seating areas inside and out. Plenty to see and do in the area such as Tomar, Obidos and the wooden walkway at Sao Samao made easier by easy access to the motorway. Villa was very clean. Pool is a good size and a real suntrap but would have appreciated a midweek pool clean and more information on...

"Un très bon établissement dans lequel nous avons été accueillis par le propriétaire qui parle parfaitement français. Il a pris le temps de nous expliquer le domaine et ses environs. La villa très récente est très bien équipée pour passer un excellent séjour au calme. La piscine était également très bien. Pour le petit déjeuner, le propriétaire était aux petits soins selon nos désirs. Nous n'avons hélas pu que passer une nuit mais nous reviendrons."

"Luna Chalet are rustic chalets, and I must admit that the unit given to us was very comfortable with great views. Nice bedding, good towels, all dishes and soap needed. The only negative is that they supply the nespresso type machines but with no pods. It would have been nice to have coffee in the morning. A lot of channels on the television also. I strongly recommend the chalet. "
