"A convenient hotel near the airport although almost no noise from planes. Beautiful spot on the river and enjoyed the fresher air. Rooms are well appointed and breakfast was good. Whilst there is nothing in the immediate vicinity except a business park and a 7/11 (my go to for fresh smoothies and salads), the regular, hourly buses to Kawasaki station for central Tokyo (an easy 20 minute train ride into Tokyo station) and the airport (20 minutes), makes the extra space worth it. Would recommend...

"We loved staying here during our time in Tokyo! The area was quiet and very cool! The hotel room was comfortable and I enjoyed the amenities. I was worried because I saw a comment about the beds being hard and while they were firmer than what we are used to we surprisingly didn’t have trouble sleeping!"

"We stayed at Sakura Hotel because it was close to Shimokotizawa (vintage shopping). It was a quiet neighbourhood, not too far from the station. Easy to find. Please note that the breakfast that is included is just bread/toast and soup. Didn’t mind considering the price of our stay. Simple hotel. Small rooms, similar to every other Tokyo hotel. Everything you need while you explore the city. "

The staff is courteous, friendly, and professional, and the accommodations are clean with extras like a hot press for clothing, room spritz, dimmable lighting near the bed, and a fancy toilet. "We had an amazing stay. It was such a rejuvenating experience! The mat beds were probably the most comfortable sleep we’ve ever gotten and the always hot hot spring tub will be something I dream about forever. Food was amazing, although the portions are almost too much for one meal. We left each meal stuff beyond belief and partially dreaded not being hungry enough to eat the next one haha. Such an amazing stay, we would most definitely come back again!"

"We have stayed here a few times while visiting family. It is without a doubt the cleanest hotel my wife and I have ever stayed at. It’s also in a very convenient location, being in downtown Kamakura. The restaurant on site is good, with a very good breakfast buffet. The only negative thing I can say about it is that it is relatively expensive, especially on weekends when the room rates can sometimes be twice or more what you’d pay for a weeknight stay. "
