"This is a charming little house with old bones and modern comforts (plumbing, windows, cooktop). You can hear the village church bells and the swifts that nest in the eaves. The hosts are lovely people who gave good advice on the local area. Bear in mind that almost everything is closed on Sundays and business hours are more limited than you may be used to. "Great pool shared with another large gite but this was not a problem as pool open 9am-7.30pm and our different holiday rhythms meant usually had the pool to ourselves. Large garden with table tennis and badminton. Everything you need inside: we liked to carry our meals to outside eating area. Blackout shutters to keep everything cool/dark. Local days out to copper mine in Le Thillot and La Schlucht Chair lift up to tops for walks/views of Vosges and Luge back down. Château du haut-kœnigsbourg...

"We bleven van donderdag tot en met het weekend en trokken maandag verder. Heerlijk huis met rust en ruimte. Aldi op 10 minuten. Bezinepomp in de buurt. Makkelijke ontsluiting naar veel mooie en leuke plekken in de Vogezen. De kinderen hebben enorm genoten van het zwembad bij het huisje."

Et il y avait plein de jeux de société pour les enfants. Merci!Le chalet est en deux appartements non communiquant, c’est la partie moins pratique car les deux entrées sont assez éloignées.Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour!"

"A spacious, well-equipped house, easy to find and with great access to attractions like Ecomusée d'Alsace, Cité de l'Auto in Mulhouse and cities to visit like Strasbourg, Basel and Freiberg. The hosts are charming and are on hand if you need them but leave you in perfect tranquillity otherwise. The absolute best."

"Nous avons passé un week-end sympa en famille, avec nos 2 chiens. Nous avons apprécié la communication facile et agréable avec les propriétaires, le baby foot dans la chambre d'enfants. Mais le montant demandé ne nous semble pas en adéquation avec la maison : certains lits sont inconfortables, l'ameublement hétéroclite et parfois très vieillot (certaines chaises perdent leur vis), la cuisine est équipée mais dans le même esprit que le reste de la maison, un coin salon un peu chiche pour un grand...

"La résidence est très spacieuse, Carole, l’hôte a été au petits soins! Elle m’avait donné tous les contacts pour le traiteur (tout était délicieux), la brasserie locale (la bière a été apprécié à l’unanimité), la boulangerie,… cela m’a beaucoup facilité l’organisation! Le cadre est top, je recommande la visite de la chèvrerie, la cascade du cuisinier et le domaine Beaucerf! Tout le monde a adoré le week-end, on a passé un super moment, je recommande vivement ! Encore merci !"
