"Overall we had a lovely stay. The location cannot be beaten and is just around the corner from the market square. Parking is not so convenient and we did park about 5 minutes walk away and had to pay but it is a reasonable price. The bed was comfortable. We had an issue with the coffee machine which was quickly sorted via text as there are no staff members present on the property. We knew about this before arriving. There was a strange smell which at times could be over powering, like a sewage/...

"We had a lovely stay. The staff were extremely helpful when we arrived later than planned. And made us a packed lynch when we needed to leave before breakfast was served which was much appreciated. The room was lovely. Oniy wish we had longer there. "

" Visiting family and friends and this B&B was halfway between them so ideal for us. Excellent host who made us feel very welcome. Spacious room and extremely comfortable bed. "I felt like visiting family. Lorne House and the hosts Bob and Liz have really created that aura 'home away from home'. The cozy and warm room, the welcoming and personal service, the fresh and delicious breakfast, the small but informative chats, and much more. It was an amazing experience. "Based on the photos and past reviews we had high expectations for this stay in Bradford -on Avon, but the experience went above and beyond what we imagined. The beautiful, historic and marvelous surroundings along with a home that had everything a guest could want- comfortable bed, hot strong shower and the most quiet we have experienced in years- maybe decades. And the town of Bradford-on- Avon is, in our opinion. better than Bath - just as historic without the tourism. "

"Interesting experience! Great location and value for Central Bath - both the room and parking. Would have given more stars except for these niggles: Tried to book parking in advance and as other reviews say got nowhere… On arrival we were early for check-in but called the mobile number provided at the hotel, arranged parking and room key so all ok (we thought…) , then a slight hiccup getting in at end of our evening but was quickly sorted when I messaged and was sent a very helpful video!...

"The only complaint was that we had trouble finding the key at first. We were given phone numbers in case of problems, but neither of those worked. Otherwise, very roomy apartment with lots of amenities provided."

"Loved everything about it, BUT, why was there no place to put all our folded clothes???? A hanging closet with hangers did not work at all for my friend & I. We stayed in a gorgeous room & spent all our time in a room with luggage spewing all our clothes, looking on our knees on the floor in the stacks of clothes. Why is there no place to put your clothes?? Sweaters, socks, underwear, T-shirts Bathing suits, etc.. A huge mess our entire stay. This makes NO sense. We were NOT happy!!!!"
