"They made a few mistakes in the beginning with my room but they made up for them with extra excelent service, shout out to Mr Yanto and mba Belinda at Kayu Manis restaurant and all the staff at the restaurant for treating me and my Mom with smile, kindness and professionalism. "Conveniently located near the shopping street of Malioboro. Hotel is generally well maintained. However the door doesn’t shut completely and I have to ensure that the door is completely shut each time I enter/leave the room. The train and traffic sounds goes on in the middle of the night. I was awoken but fortunately return to sleep quite easily, thanks to the comfortable bed. Will be a problem for light sleepers. "

"Still under construction so there may be some minor disruptions here and there. But the staff’s hospitality and care more than makes up for it. The rooms are new and the beds are very comfortable also. It’s the perfect area to be if you’re visiting Borobudur and north area and also only 25 mins to Malioboro. Will return to this hotel if I’m back to Jogja!"

"The hotel looks tired, the furniture is stained as well as the carpet, the restaurant’s furniture is old and dirty. Not the best location, better to be at the Malioboro quarters. Staff very friendly and helpful. "

"So that we're on the same page here, Yogyakarta sucks. You can't walk anywhere, not even really one block from the hotel. The air is dirty from the millions of scooters and there's not much to do outside of the two big temples far out of town. Given that as the baseline, the Gaia Cosmo is a decent hotel. Our room was nice and quiet and the lobby is nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They do serve this stomach-churning gross Asian breakfast buffet that smells so strong. I would stay...

"Stunning hotel, very large clean comfortable rooms. Clean bathrooms with robes and slippers. Opposite train station. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Definitely a budget standard room. Towels were awful, thin, not fluffy, grey, worn out, frayed edges. Need renewing desperately. Bugs flying around lamps in restaurant, had to stop staff from spraying insecticide during our dinner. Fridge in room wasn't a fridge but a storage for snacks. Unbelievable as it's blowing warm air inside false fridge. So go figure. Took a while to eventually change faulty safe in room, wasn't screwed down. Ordered a seafood soup dish for dinner but no seafood, only...
