"We stayed here while visiting a family member. It is so comfortable, and the location is rugged and beautiful - the most beautiful view of the stars I’ve ever had. It is remote, so plan ahead to get groceries. We had no trouble finding ways to enjoy ourselves (The World War II Museum in Fredericksburg is excellent), and there are state parks in the area I would love to investigate when the weather is different. "The ranch and facilities are amazing and a fun place to be. The hosts Raina and Kyle gave us a ranch tour of the 2000 acres, seeing elk, sika, oryx and lots of other game. The lodge is huge with a full commercial kitchen and plenty of room and super clean. My rock band had a recording session there and Kyle played the guitar and Raina sang with us- a great time. I highly recommend this 5 star property- we are goinig back ASAP."
