"I had read some not so great reviews before leaving however I found Amora Lagoon a lovely hotel. It is a hotel in another country so things aren’t always going to be exactly what you expect from a local hotel however I found it quite pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was clean and beautiful, the room clean and comfortable with air conditioning and only a few minutes drive to the airport. The next day we took their Tuk Tuk back to airport, and that was really fun for under $2 USD. It was absolutely worth it to get out of the airport for that night, and have a bed and a warm shower before our next flight. The bottle waters were greatly appreciated.
