"Lovely. Staff excellent and very attentive. Mountain view excellent. Didn’t like that the bed mattress did not have a cover on it. Also, no VIP or Expedia Gold perks were offered until I asked for a late checkout. They were going to charge us for that, however, I mentioned that we had Expedia perks and then they did not charge us for that. I was disappointed that no perks were offered. "

"Everything was as expected for an aging cabin property. These cabins have all the convinces needed for a sustainable stay in the mountains. Full-size fridge and stove, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker - however, the utensils and dishes are few. There is a choice of using the gas furnace or (fee for wood - bring an axe) you can burn the fireplace for a cozy atmosphere. I recommend you bring food and coffee, maybe your own pillows and comforter. There is really only one choice of lighting - a stark white lap fixture high in the ceiling - bring a lamp if you can. The water wasn't tasty but it is tolerable - recommend bringing water. These cozy but rustic cabins are easy to access and sit far enough from Highway 1, that we didn't hear the traffic. The train is a distant rumble, until hotels in Canmore, where they rattle through the centre of town. The staff are ready to help and friendly. We didn't have any trouble with our stay. I can recommend this stay to anyone looking for a fully equipped stay in the mountains for a low price. (we visited in winter)"
