"My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful! "

Pros: 1) House by itself on a large piece of land 2) Very quiet and peaceful 3)House is large with plenty of room 4) Nicely remodeled with very nice furnishings 5) The one bed we slept on was very comfortable 6) Amazing view of the sun coming up over the hill in the mornings Cons: 1) Although newly remodeled, it's still a very old house and the old house smell is crazy strong. "We enjoyed the 2024 total Solar Eclipse from the front of the property. It was a perfect place to enjoy it. No crowds no issues. We went on a hike at Pickle Springs Nature Area after the event. Farmington is near by to drop in and grab some food or coffee. Perfect place for the two days to get away from it all."

"Very clean house with everything you would need for a short or long stay. There is a seating area out back where you can enjoy watching the wild life in the woods. The owner is supper nice."
