"The place is beautiful! Tastefully decorated, everything you need for your stay in the kitchen, in the bathrooms. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and sitting at the kitchen table, playing games or just chatting. The location is perfect if you like to be in the woods (which we did), but it can be difficult to find. But your host gives excellent directions. The hardest part is seeing the sign HHH that tells you where to turn into the property. You and your family will love it here!!!"

"Our group stayed here after a larger family reunion at Trout Lodge, YMCA. The place was great with something to do for everyone. Having a private, CLEAN pool for the family is amazing. We hiked around and boated around the lake, made s’mores by a campfire, played pool and darts and board games and grilled meals. This house lets you do it all and has the space to visit family and also have alone time. I’d love to come back."

"This is a wonderful place to get away from it all and just enjoy nature and the company of the people you are traveling with. Bird watchers will especially love the barn willows, red headed woodpeckers, blue grosbeak, Bobwhite, and more. Stores and the historic downtown of Saint Genevieve are just a short drive away. Along with many wineries."

"Very nice property in a very nice location. Overall a nice place to stay. Pros: 1) House by itself on a large piece of land 2) Very quiet and peaceful 3)House is large with plenty of room 4) Nicely remodeled with very nice furnishings 5) The one bed we slept on was very comfortable 6) Amazing view of the sun coming up over the hill in the mornings Cons: 1) Although newly remodeled, it's still a very old house and the old house smell is crazy strong. I mean VERY strong 2) The smart thermostat...

"We enjoyed the 2024 total Solar Eclipse from the front of the property. It was a perfect place to enjoy it. No crowds no issues. We went on a hike at Pickle Springs Nature Area after the event. Farmington is near by to drop in and grab some food or coffee. Perfect place for the two days to get away from it all."
