Madame Poisson, our hostess, is fabulous, and worth a stay there just to meet her. She was the mayor for 31 years, is so very bright and interesting and charming. The breakfasts she presents are delicious and plentiful, with homemade jams for the fresh breads. Our rooms were spacious and lovely, modern large bathroom. The manoir has a fascinating WWII...

"We have thought hard about this review because the people that run the hotel are very nice people who are very welcoming. Despite the language barrier Ginette was great and spoke better English than we did French. However, the issues were with the room itself. When we entered the room it actually looked great with the bedroom being separate and up one flight of stairs but there was a damp musty smell that we thought may have just been from being closed. Unfortunately, despite trying that smell...

Our host Valerie was the best: she is friendly, helpful, responsive, and a great chef/cook. Her breakfasts were just the thing to start the day in Bayeux.
