Had an issue with the TV not working on our last stay, apparently this is an issue across the hotel so would not recommend if a TV is a must for you. "Lovely stay at Ramside. First time we have been here and we will be back. Staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. Room was nice, only issue was that it smelt a bit damp when we walked in but opened patio doors and aired it and was ok afterwards. Lovely clean rooms. Beds not the most comfortable. Pillows were lumpy and a double/king size bed would be better than 2 beds put together, kept falling down the middle. Next time may look to upgrade to a premier room. "We are just back from a two nights break at the ‘Derwent Manor Hotel’ celebrating three birthdays and we were completely blown away from the start to the finish. Debbie and Natalie who made us so welcome on arrival. There was eleven of us in the group and everyone was blown away with the quality of their rooms along with the quality of the food and service that we received both at dinner time and breakfast time. "Staff who greeted us were brilliant, they put us in a high floor right next to the lift as I walk with a crutch. I did as K for a low floor but the girl said it was very noisy on the low floors as work was going on outside so they gave us a quiet floor and right next to the lift. Very clean and tidy bedroom"
