We were at the hotel during the power outage in Portugal in April 2025 and were so impressed that they had a back up power generator so we were able to have power, food, drinks, etc where most hotels in the city didn’t even have the running water. Hotel restaurant is excellent (we didn’t have breakfast buffet but had a few meals during the blackout). We were upgraded to the room with a patio which was also very nice. "
