"Loved the property! Tucked away and very private. Home was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen is very well supplied for all sorts of cooking. My party loves fishing, and being right on Hamlin Lake was a huge bonus. We spent a lot of time fishing down at the dock. The property is located on one of the shallower ends of the lake, so you have to fish through weeds and be prepared to catch smaller fish. If you bring topwater lures you'll be fine and catch some nice pike and bass! Larger bluegill...

"This was one second year at this adorable cottage. We loved it once again! The stairs to the lake were improved from last year. (Still no lake access, but we could get closer to watch the waves and sunset.) We are comfortable with the simplicity of handwashing dishes, and enjoyed unplugging from a hectic schedule with no wifi and basically no phone connection. All in all, a great place for a wonderful vacation!"

"It was a very cold off season stay, but the house met the match. We enjoyed the period details (early 1900's) along with the modern updates. Handy to have streaming available with large TV (no beach or swimming that time of year). Matt was responsive to us from start to finish."

"This was our 2nd annual family Labor Day get away. Last year we were closer to downtown and within walking distance to everything. This cabin is on the opposite end - not within walking distance which we knew before booking. The smaller kids enjoyed fishing from the dock and caught plenty of small fish.
