"Nice property. The check in process was good but there was nothing included about how to work the A/C. After searching for a thermostat for several minutes, I realized that it's controlled by a Remote Control and it was in Celsius temps so it was confusing. I finally found a video online how to change it to Fahrenheit. The actual property was good and comfortable. No complaints. Easy to get to from Caddo State Park and Backwater Jacks. "

"We picked a great place to escape for a weekend, a very nicely appointed Texas historical cabin. It’s a very cozy, 2 bedroom cabin close to roads to explore the Marshall area. Ample kitchen equipment to do your own breakfast. And the host is very gracious and provides all the info you need to enjoy your stay."

"Great cabin for me and my sons. We spent 2 days fishing. Easy place close to cabin to launch our boat. Quiet. Also ate at the nearby Mexican restaurant which was great with fast service."

"The room was small but clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the easy lake access, where we were able to leave the boat in the water at their small dock. Just to note, in case you miss the fine print, this is a lodge where half of the rooms front the lake and the other half from the street. You’re still able to use all amenities and the owners were very accommodating and friendly!"
