"Our room was beautiful. It had a king size bed and the en-suite bathroom was a good size. The only downside was that the toilet flush handle was broken but still worked. It could have done with better lighting in the bathroom as you couldn’t see in the mirror very well. The room was immaculately clean and had a sofa and tv with easy to connect to WiFi. Personally I struggled with comfort of the bed as I found it too soft but it was dressed with clean sheets and had extra pillows in the wardrobe....

This is the first time I have encountered this in a hotel, This was not easy to make the first cup of tea in the morning. Having mentioned these two points, the staff we met were very helpful and pleasant. "Late arrival and early out but was still welcomed by Alice the owner. Breakfast was offered and even provided at an earlier time than normally given, for which I was very grateful. A great cooked breakfast kicked off my morning and soon I was on my way. This was a perfect location to break up a long North to South journey. Very pleasant indeed. Sad that I missed out on what looked like a super Chinese dining experience for an evening meal! And just a few mins of the A1M"
