"Spent three nights here over my birthday and so we could see the Illuminations. This is a really lovely, traditional style hotel and we loved every minute of our stay. We had the Dinner, Bed and Breakfast deal and the meals were really good, with a nice choice of dishes. Overall great value for money and I'd reccommend this place highly."

"Second time we have enjoyed a pre Christmas break at The Belsfield and we are already planning a return. The hotel was tastefully festive and very inviting. This down to the hotel itself and the efficient and friendly staff. We had a 1st floor room overlooking the lake and the room was of a good standard. It was comfortable clean and the shower was outstanding. Breakfast was excellent with bags of choice and we also enjoyed an evening meal at the hotel. Well cooked, great value for money and...

"Good location next to Lake Windermere and we had a great view of the lake from our room - very atmospheric in the early morning mist! Room lovely and warm and well appointed although a little more floorspace would not have gone amiss. Breakfast was very good - a decent amount of food, very tasty and well cooked. We also enjoyed the pool and sauna/steam rooms as well. Hotel is very well located with many pubs/restaurants/cafes within easy walking distance."
