"We arrived after snow so never got to experience outdoors because it was a cold weekend but the house was great. Lorraine had coffee, tea, hot chocolate, blankets and everything you could need for a warm weekend. House is conveniently located near wintergreen and some wineries and breweries. When we thought there may be a freeze Lorraine came out and salted the driveway and made sure we’d have no issues getting in and out. House is perfectly stocked and styles. Thanks for having us! "This lovely cottage was built with so many unique features—reclaimed doors and windows with original iron hardware, nature prints throughout the rooms, wooden beams and slate tile floor downstairs. The queen bed upstairs had the softest sheets and a very comfortable mattress. It has all the amenities of a modern home with dishwasher, internet, ceiling fans, easy keypad entry and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property."

"We had a great time. The house and property was perfect for our family of four. Close to Appalachian Trail and tons of breweries, wineries, and cideries. We enjoyed the day out exploring and then chilling around backyard fire in the evening. Definitely recommend staying here."

"The main downer was there was no information on how many steps down to get to unit. Terrible lighting inside and out. Broken transition piece on floor between living and kitchen was dangerous. Host never communicated until two days before when I finally called asking for information. Very old scratched Teflon cookware. Unit needed updating. "
