"My wife and I stayed two nights and it was very comfortable. The AC worked well, the room was well equipped and not one bug, alive or dead. The front door locked solidly and was sealed well. The staff was friendly and overall for $80 a night I think it was a great value!"

"After visiting the town of Schulenburg throughout my entire life, this was the first stay in a home other than that of my grandmother. What a truly beautiful and unique gem! The time slowed as we swung on the porch swing. I loved the lighting by each of the lamps. It was enjoyable to tour each room, wanting to spend time in each. The beds provided a sound night sleep. We were able to watch a movie on Netfiix easily. Overall, I wish I could've stayed longer here."

"Amazing place to stay that really brings you back to the days when things were a little slower paced. Lots of old car and gas station memorabilia that is decorated very nicely. The highway 90 out front was very quite and not real busy. Train is close by but did not bother or effect us in the least. Front outdoor area nice to relax with coffee and start the day and the backyard area with firepit is a great place to end that day. Everything was clean and tidy with plenty of necessary supplies. Will definitely recommend to friends as a neat get a way in Schulenburg TX!!! "
