"We had a great time at this property. It is right on the bayou, so we spent time outside crabbing and fishing. My husband and son used the boat ramp and went on a several-hour fishing trip. I used the smaller dock, and it was perfect for kayaking. The bayou was wide and clean of debris. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you to the owner for providing such a comfortable getaway!"

"We stayed here with our family and really enjoyed it. First, it was very clean. Nice screened in patio. We enjoyed the dock and being able to fish right off the dock. We had our boat and it was super easy to get out to the bayou, but we fished a lot just outside the neighborhood and caught there. The owner lives across the canal so would be available if you need anything. We didn’t, but met them when they came over to make sure the garbage can got put out and they are super nice. "Had the best time with my family at the camp. The place was unbelievable, it was so pretty and well decorated. The outside was just as nice, my grandson love fishing off the docks and so did I. We didn’t catch any big fish but we caught a lot of catfish, crrokers,garfish and crabs. I lived sitting on the porch in the morning drinking my coffee with the nice breeze. "The pictures of the place look cute. When we got there we were horrified! My family and I arrived to the property, and discovered the 3rd "bedroom" was a refinished garage without heat! It was 40 degrees that night. We also found mouse dropping in a different bedroom. We travel with pets so we had no other choice but to stay the night. We didn't arrive until after 9pm. "Great stay in Thibodaux for Christmas to visit family. The home is older and rustic, with lots of character and many original features. We looked it up and found it to be built in 1908. It was VERY clean, nicely decorated and filled with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen has everything you need. Plenty of extra towels and bedding.
