Location is outside of the city center but it was good to be near the windmills, have the use of the boat and the bikes which we would not have had if we had been in the city center. Children really liked staying on the houseboat. We bought food from the Dekemart and ate at Het Heerenhuis twice which was very good. Uses Uber and the bus to get around as well as the bikes. "Ein Stern ist selbst zu viel!!! Achtung - Betrug!!! Das Boot was angeboten wird gibt es zwar aber wird ausschließlich bei booking angeboten. Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. Wir hatten einen Tag vorher gelesen das es an dem Standort nicht existiert und am Anreisetag sofort Expedia kontaktiert. Die Kommunikation hat gut geklappt, nur...

"Leider war zu unserem Aufenthalt das Wetter stürmisch und verregnet. Jedoch fühlten wir uns sehr wohl. Die Betten waren entgegen der Beschreibung bei Bezug nicht bezogen... dieses haben wir schnell selbst erledigt. Alles in einem ein schöner Aufenthalt.."

"Wir hatten zwei tolle Tage auf dem schönen Hausboot! Es ist wirklich der reine Luxus dort. Wenn man reinkommt, ist es zwar sehr heiß, aber da man alles aufmachen kann, kühlt es auch schnell ab. Der Preis ist allerdings trotzdem sehr hoch. Der Check in ist relativ spät, das Check in Fenster zwischen 16:00 Uhr und 18:00 Uhr. Eher kurz. "Es war ein stürmischer Aufenthalt über den Jahreswechsel und den einzigen Kampf, den wir zu kämpfen hatten, war der mit der Klimaanlage, die uns den Aufenthalt angenehmer machen sollte - lag aber bestimmt an uns. Die Böllerei anderer „Festland“-Gäste auf dem Steg - dem einzigen Weg vom Hausboot weg - war nicht gut, denn im schlimmsten Fall hätten wir nicht weggekonnt. "Our family stayed at Anouk's lovely houseboat during a recent trip to the Netherlands to visit family. The boat is well maintained, comfortable and clean. The location is very accessible to the train and to amenities in Zaandam. No matter how busy the day, the beauty and comfort of the houseboat always made for a relaxing return. Highly recommend!"
